Mani Thankappan

Mani Thankappan is a highly experienced Technical Manager at Irdeto, where responsibilities include leading a team of software engineers and operations analysts to deliver online content protection solutions for major studios, sports leagues, and OTT subscription service providers since June 2018. Prior to this role, Mani served at ITG from February 2001 to May 2018, progressing through various positions including Director of Software Development and Senior Software Development Manager, focusing on building RESTful microservices within a next-generation technology stack. A significant achievement includes the development of ITG TCA, a trading cost measurement application recognized by Waters Technology as the best TCA product in 2014 and 2015, during which client trade data grew significantly. Earlier career experience includes a role as a Software Consultant at CG Maersk USA, and an academic background includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka.
