Svetislav Momcilovic has a diverse work experience with expertise in software engineering and research. Svetislav started their career as a Software Developer at Accordia Group, LLC in 2005. In 2006, they joined INESC-ID as a PhD researcher and later became a Senior Researcher. During their time at INESC-ID, they conducted research on parallel video coding and load balancing on heterogeneous CPU+GPU platforms. Svetislav also worked on designing parallel algorithms for H. 264 and H. 264/AVC video coding. In 2009, Svetislav worked as an intern-researcher at Mitsubishi Electric Research Labs. In 2016, they joined Irdeto, where they held multiple roles including Senior Software Engineer and Principal Software Engineer. At Irdeto, they contributed to the development of a core technology for the TraceMarkTM Forensic Watermarking product line and worked on video watermarking and video streaming projects.+
Svetislav Momcilovic began their education in 1999, when they enrolled at Univerzitet u Nišu. Svetislav pursued a degree in Computer Systems and Informatics, completing their Master of Science (MSc) in 2004. Seeking further specialization in their field, Svetislav then attended Instituto Superior Técnico from 2006 to 2011. During this time, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Systems. Thus, Svetislav Momcilovic holds a Master's degree in Computer Systems and Informatics from Univerzitet u Nišu and a Doctoral degree in Computer Systems from Instituto Superior Técnico.
