Rik van Leeuwen

Rik van Leeuwen has a diverse work experience in the field of data analysis and science. Rik joined IRECKONU in 2018 and currently holds the position of Data Team Lead. Before that, they worked as a Data Scientist at the same company from September 2018 to August 2020. In 2019, Rik started working as a PHD Student at VU Amsterdam, where they are still currently employed. Prior to that, they co-founded IrevenU and worked as a Data Scientist from January 2017 to September 2018. Rik also has experience as a Data Scientist at citizenM hotels from July 2016 to February 2017. Additionally, they worked as a Junior Business Analyst at Adscience BV from July 2015 to September 2016.

Rik van Leeuwen completed their education in the following chronological order:

1. From 2008 to 2012, Rik attended Carmel College Gouda and obtained a Higher General Secondary Education (Havo) degree in the field of Natural Sciences and Technology.

2. In 2012, Rik started attending De Haagse Hogeschool / Vestiging Delft, where they obtained a Propedeuse diploma in the field of Business Mathematics in July 2013.

3. Rik then moved on to Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) in 2013 and pursued a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Business Analytics, which they completed in July 2016.

4. Following their undergraduate studies, Rik continued their education at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) and graduated with a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Business Analytics in 2019.

In addition to their academic degrees, Rik also earned two certifications:

1. In July 2016, they obtained a Bachelor Business Analytics certification from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.

2. In July 2013, Rik acquired a Propedeuse Bedrijfswiskunde certification from De Haagse Hogeschool.
