Rakshit Sorathiya has extensive experience in software engineering and development. Rakshit is currently working at IRegained Inc. as the Software Engineering R&D Lead, where they are responsible for developing the native Android application and Firmware codebase for the MyHand System. Rakshit collaborates with cross-functional teams to enhance and maintain the system, empowering stroke and traumatic brain injury survivors to regain the unassisted use of their hands.

Prior to their current role, Rakshit worked as a Software Developer at IRegained Inc., focusing on hybrid tablet/mobile application development and Firmware development for the MyHand System. Rakshit made the system more convenient to use through an Android application and IoT technology.

Rakshit also has experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne, where they supported students in their education.

Before that, they worked as an Android Engineer at Professional Soft-Tech, where they developed and maintained Android applications for various clients. Rakshit worked on projects such as a real-time chat application using Firebase services and a native Android e-commerce application using the Shopify Web Application API.

Rakshit began their career as a Jr. Software Developer at Starline Infotech, honing their skills in software development.

Additionally, Rakshit Sorathiya pursued further education and completed an M.Sc. in Computational Sciences from Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne from 2019 to 2021, specializing in Computer Science.
