Richard Rusa

Richard RUSA is an accomplished professional currently serving as a Senior Product Manager and Chairperson of the Culture Committee at Irembo since May 2021. Richard leads a cross-functional team to enhance employee well-being and productivity while previously contributing as a Product Manager focused on impactful product development. As a co-founder of Ballistic Burgers, Richard established a mobile fast-food delivery service during the COVID-19 pandemic, integrating contemporary fast food with African culinary traditions. Richard's previous roles include Head of Product Design, Head of Technology, and Head of Products at DMM.HeRichard Ltd, where extensive collaboration with a diverse team led to innovative supply chain solutions. Additionally, Richard has experience as a User Research Consultant for the UN Economic Commission for Africa and as a Brand Ambassador for RWANDATEL SA. Richard holds an Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Rwanda, along with a certificate in Food & Beverage from Cornell University.
