Eugenio Bertolini

Since July 2020, Eugenio Bertolini has been CEO of the company Iren Ambiente. He was born in Reggio Emilia in 1964, he graduated in Electronic Engineering from the University of Bologna in 1990.

In AGAC since 1991 with managerial roles in the Environmental Hygiene Division. In the period 2000-2001, he was CEO of SEA SpA, in the waste sector in the Provinces of Parma and Reggio Emilia. From 2002 to 2004 he was Manager of the Plant Management Division of AGAC and in particular: high/medium pressure methane gas distribution network, district heating distribution network, heat management, management of purification plants and sewage collectors, management of water collection, adduction and storage systems. drinking. He is also involved in the development project in the field of telecommunications which saw AGAC stipulate in 2004 an agreement with the Emilia Romagna Region for the creation and management of the regional telematic plan for the Province of Reggio Emilia.

From 2005 to 2013 he was an operational director of the Piacenza office of Enìa and general manager of Enìa Piacenza. In 2011 he became Operating Director of Iren Emilia, a first-level company of the Iren Group which carries out the operational activities of the Integrated Water Service, Waste Management, Gas Distribution, District Heating Networks, Electricity Distribution, in Emilia. In 2015 he held the role of General Manager of Iren Emilia and Iren Acqua Gas and, finally, from 2016 to 2020 he held the role of General Manager of IRETI.
