Hannington Sserwanga

Hannington Sserwanga is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in communications, public relations, and environmental conservation. Currently serving as the Director of Communications and Public Relations at BUYEF and a Fellow at beVisioneers, Sserwanga also founded Marafiki United Green Youths Initiative, focusing on youth empowerment and biodiversity. Involvement with the International Renewable Energy Agency as an I Act Peer Educator underscores a commitment to renewable energy education. Previous roles include Psycho Social Councillor at Kiyita Family Alliance for Development and various positions within YOUNGO, including Global Contact Point for Nature Echoes and Policy Advisor Project Lead. With a strong educational background, including a degree from Makerere University and certifications in Emergency Care and Information Technology, Sserwanga continues to advocate for peace, tolerance, and sustainable development in Uganda and beyond.
