Simon Benmarraze

Simon Benmarraze is a Team Lead at IRENA since 2016, where he oversees activities on renewable energy technology and infrastructure. Prior to that, he worked as a Renewable Energy Project Developer at Solar Euromed from 2009 to 2016, a Business Improvement Manager at CRH in 2008-2009, a Research Engineer at imec in 2007-2008, and an Application Engineer at GE Power in 2005-2006. He holds a Master of Science in Materials Engineering from Ecole Européenne d'Ingénieurs en Génie des Matériaux, an MBA in Management from Vlerick Business School, and completed an Exchange Program at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya.
