Gopika Nieroshan

Gopika Nieroshan serves as the General Manager Risk for the Wealth APAC Business Unit at Iress since August 2023, leading strategic and operational risk functions while reporting to the CEO. With significant experience in risk management, Gopika held various leadership roles at ANZ, including Portfolio Risk, Governance and Compliance Lead for Digital Banking, where notable achievements included improving risk profiles and designing effective operational risk frameworks. Prior roles at Telstra and Deloitte focused on developing enterprise risk management frameworks and providing advisory services on risk mitigation. Gopika's educational background includes a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Business Systems from Monash University, a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting, and a certification in project management. Additionally, Gopika contributes as a Risk Committee Member at Korowa Anglican Girls' School.
