Peter Wemyss

Peter Wemyss currently serves as Lead Product Manager for Connectivity (Trading & Market Data) at Iress since September 2019, after holding the position of Product Manager for Iress UK FIX Connectivity. Prior to Iress, Peter was a Manager of FIX Connectivity at Refinitiv and, earlier, at Thomson Reuters, where responsibilities included managing the EMEA Connectivity team and designing the MiFID II spec for the Autex Trade Route. With nearly 15 years of hands-on experience in electronic trading FIX connectivity, Peter has engaged with global institutions, brokers, and vendors to facilitate certifications, on-boarding, and troubleshooting. Peter's career also includes a Vice President role at Tradeweb, leading a team of FIX analysts, and responsibilities in project management and standards compliance. Peter's early career included a role as Senior Systems Integration Analyst at Thomson Financial.
