David Friedland has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. David started their career as an Announcer at Voice of America & TOEIC in 1990 and also worked as an Instructor at SiSa ECC/ELS during the same time. David then became a Copy Editor at Korea Herald from October 1989 to April 1990. David also worked as a News Anchor at WVBR-FM from November 1984 to May 1988, during which they became President & General Manager of Cornell Radio Guild, Inc and successfully led a turnaround in finances, personnel, and programming.

In 1990, David began working as a Correspondent at NBC News and later joined Information Resources, Inc. in June 1991 as Director of Marketing & Sales. At IRI, The CoSort Company, where they started in July 1995, David held the role of COO and VP Business Development. David focused on software company management and partnership building, particularly in data management disciplines such as big data discovery, integration, migration, governance, and analytics. David played a crucial role in promoting the growth of the IRI Voracity platform and its constituent products.
