Kelsey Schramma

Kelsey Schramma has extensive work experience in the field of scientific research and development. Kelsey is currently employed as a Staff Scientist at Iridia, Inc. since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Illumina as a Staff Scientist from July 2022 onwards. From September 2021 to July 2022, they held the position of Senior Scientist at Encodia, Inc. Before that, they worked at Encodia Inc. as a Scientist II from November 2017 to October 2021, focusing on protein sample preparation workflows and assay development. Their earliest work experience was as a Ph.D. Graduate Student at Princeton University, where they conducted research in enzymology and mechanistic studies of radical S-adenosylmethionine enzymes. Kelsey also gained experience in peptide synthesis, natural product isolation, and structure determination during their time at Princeton University from September 2012 to October 2021.

Kelsey Schramma holds a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Chemistry from Princeton University. Prior to obtaining their PhD, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Chemistry at Mount Holyoke College from 2008 to 2012.
