Frank Buntschuh

Chief System Engineer - NOT I.t.! at Iridium Communications

Frank Buntschuh has extensive work experience in the aerospace industry. Frank began their career in 1980 at RCA Astro Electronics as a System Engineering. Frank then joined Motorola in 1991 as a Space Systems Engineer and worked there until 2000. From 2000 to 2006, they served as a Mission analyst at Spectrum Astro, Inc. In 2006, they joined Iridium Satellite LLC as the Director of Space Systems Engineering, and later became the Director of Mission Systems Engineering at Iridium LLC in 2008. Since 2013, they have been working at Iridium as the Chief System Engineer - NOT I.T.

Frank Buntschuh completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from The College of New Jersey, where they studied from 1985 to 1989. Frank then pursued a Master of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Arizona State University between 1993 and 1996. Prior to these college experiences, Buntschuh attended The Peddie School from 1970 to 1975, although no specific degree or field of study information is provided for this period.
