Ryan Shepperd

Ryan Shepperd has extensive experience in the aerospace field, currently serving as a Mission Planning and Orbital Analyst and SSA Lead at Iridium since June 2019. Prior to this role, Ryan worked at Boeing from September 2003 to June 2019 as an Astronautical Engineer and deputy head of the Orbital Analysis team for the Iridium Program, focusing on satellite maintenance and collision avoidance for over 66 satellites. Earlier experience includes working as a Teaching Associate at the International Space University and as an Iridium Orbital Analyst at Indotronix International Corp. Ryan's early career features roles at the National Aerospace Laboratory in Japan and the Colorado Space Grant Consortium, involving significant research and development in satellite systems and propulsion. Ryan holds a Master of Space Studies degree from the International Space University and dual degrees in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder.
