Deepta Rangarajan

With over 22 years of experience across product development, operations and client relationship management, Deepta has responsibility for strategically building out and managing IRIS’ operations to support the Company’s vision and business objectives. She also heads the HR team and is responsible for overseeing recruitment, retention and employee engagement.

Prior to IRIS, Deepta worked at American Express Bank and headed CRISIL’s operations in North India (CRISIL is a subsidiary of Standard and Poor’s). At IRIS, Deepta played a key role in managing large client engagements during the services growth phase of the Company’s structured data story which led to the conceptualization of Carbon as a product. Today, she is the product sponsor for Carbon and is involved in all stages of the product’s strategy right from development through sales and marketing.

Deepta is a Chemical Engineer from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. Profiled as one of the 25 top entrepreneurs who graduated from IIM Ahmedabad in the bestseller, ‘Stay Hungry, Stay Foolish’ and as one of Navi Mumbai’s Power Women of 2015, Deepta enjoys singing, reading and cooking on weekends.
