Kris Schachtschneider has over 25 years of work experience in the telecommunications industry. They started their career at AT&T in 1994 as an Electronic Network Operations Technician, where they monitored and troubleshooted alarm issues with digital end office switches and telephone equipment for the entire Bellsouth region. In 1997, they joined XO Communications as the Nortel DMS-500 Switch Manager, responsible for installation, repair, and expansion of fiber optic switching equipment. They also worked closely with customers to resolve technical issues. In 2002, Kris joined Iris Networks as a Client Service Manager, where they are currently employed.
Kris Schachtschneider earned a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from ITT Technical Institute. In addition to this degree, Kris also obtained the EPA Section 608 Universal Certification from the Mainstream Engineering Corporation in Rockledge, FL in November 2013.
