Winston Owens has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Winston began their career as an Intern at The Doors Music Company / Jampol Artist Management in 2009, before moving on to work as a Media Coordinator at the Pacific Basin Institute Archive from 2006 to 2008. In 2008, they served as a Fundraising Director at the Fund for the Public Interest. From 2010 to 2012, Winston co-founded Jukebox Television. Currently, they hold the role of VP of Content & Programming at IRIS.TV, where they are responsible for onboarding, processing, and activating video data. Their work at IRIS.TV focuses on providing publishers, brands, agencies, and technology providers with a comprehensive understanding of streaming videos to enhance consumer experiences and improve business outcomes.
Winston Owens attended the McCallie School from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained their high school degree. Winston then enrolled at Pomona College and studied American Studies, Media Studies, and Religious Studies from 2004 to 2008, earning their Bachelor of Art degree. In 2009, they attended the UCLA Extension, focusing on The Music Business Now, although they did not obtain a specific degree from this program.
