Suzy Burns

Suzy Burns is an experienced finance professional with a robust background in financial management across various sectors, including aviation, pharmaceuticals, and insurance. Currently serving as Finance Manager at the Irish Aviation Authority since May 2023, Suzy previously held the same role at the Commission for Aviation Regulation from June 2019 to May 2023 and at the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland from June 2018 to May 2019. Earlier experience includes positions as International Finance Accountant at Europ Assistance, Finance Manager at Scott Tallon Walker Architects, and Finance Manager at Huthwaite International, among others. Suzy's career began as an Assistant Accountant at the World Food Programme and progressed through roles at Hughes Blake as a Trainee Accountant. Suzy holds a Diploma in IFRS from Chartered Accountants Ireland and continues studies at The Insurance Institute, focusing on Intermediate Reinsurance, along with additional qualifications in payroll and management.
