Gregory Smith has an extensive work experience spanning various industries. Gregory started their career at the Max-Planck-Institute for Solid State Research as a Senior Staff Researcher, where they conducted research on Ultrafast Exciton Dynamics in semiconductor structures. Gregory then worked as a Consultant at PRODOC Ingenieurbuero GmbH before joining Sun Microsystems as an Enterprise Architect and later as Global Manager of SAP and BI/DW Competency Centers. At T-Systems, Gregory held multiple roles, including Vice President of Technical Presales Solution Design, Portfolio and Innovation, Vice President of Service Delivery and Customer Success Management, and Director of Dynamic Application Cloud Services. Gregory also served as Vice President SAP Alliance and Business Development Americas at Hitachi Vantara and Vice President, Head of Commercial Business and Strategic Partnerships at PARC, a Xerox Company. Additionally, Gregory served on the Advisory Board of Cloudplace.

Gregory Smith's education history includes obtaining a Ph.D. in Solid State Physics, an M.S. in Physics, and a B.S. in Physics from UC Irvine. Prior to attending UC Irvine, they completed an Associate of Arts degree in Electrical Engineering from Fullerton College.
