Michael Waltrip

Managing Director, Intellectual Capital Management Group at PARC

Michael Waltrip has an extensive work experience in various companies and roles. Michael started their career as Corporate Counsel at Acer Group in 1999 and served until 2001. From 2002 to 2005, they worked as Counsel at iD SoftCapital, responsible for all legal matters for the company's venture investment funds. In 2005, they joined PARC, a Xerox company, as Managing Director of the Intellectual Capital Management Group, where they drove IP monetization and played a key role in strategy and policy development for IP commercialization. Since 2017, they have been appointed as Managing Director of IP Strategy and Commercialization at Xerox.

Michael Waltrip attended the University of California, Berkeley from an unknown start year and graduated in 1995. Michael then pursued further education at the University of California, College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings) until 1999.
