Lorcan Kelly ACA CTA has a strong background in tax and finance. Lorcan began their career as an Audit Intern at KPMG in 2007. From there, they joined KPMG Tax & Legal Services as a Tax Senior in 2009, where they provided advice to a range of Irish and multinational companies on corporate tax law. Their expertise focused on international and domestic tax strategy and planning. In 2013, Lorcan joined Irish Distillers as a Tax Manager, where they took responsibility for managing the corporate tax and VAT obligations of the group. Lorcan also played a critical role in developing the company's tax strategy and planning. In 2019, Lorcan was promoted to Head of Tax & Projects at Irish Distillers, further showcasing their leadership abilities and expertise in tax. Lorcan Kelly ACA CTA has a strong educational background. In 2004, they graduated from the University of Galway with a B. Commerce International & French degree, focusing on French, Accounting, Tax, Economics, and MIS. In 2008, they received their Masters of Accounting from the same university, studying Financial Accounting, Tax, Finance, Management Accounting, Strategy, and MIS. Lorcan also obtained a French Business Language Diploma from the Paris Chamber of Commerce in 2008. Lorcan furthered their education by completing an Erasmus program at KEDGE Business School in 2006-2007. Subsequently, Lorcan pursued professional qualifications with Chartered Accountants Ireland, where they obtained the ACA degree in 2012 after passing the Final Admitting Exam in 2011. Lorcan also became a Registered Tax Consultant by passing the final tax exams conducted by the Irish Tax Institute in 2012.
