Steven Heaney

Steven Heaney is a skilled journalist and digital operations specialist currently working at The Irish Examiner since February 2020. Prior experience includes serving as an English language teacher at Galway Cultural Institute and Galway Business School from May 2017 to February 2020, where responsibilities included creating lesson plans and managing library resources. Earlier experience includes an internship at The Connacht Tribune Ltd., where Steven contributed to news gathering and reporting, as well as a role as an English language teacher at Vaughan Systems, supporting undergraduate students at the University of Cantabria. Steven holds a Master's degree in Journalism and New Media from the University of Limerick and a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Psychological Studies from the University of Galway.
