Orla Keegan has extensive experience in the field of education and bereavement services, currently serving as the Head of Education & Bereavement Services at the Irish Hospice Foundation since 2005. Prior to this role, Orla held the position of Education, Research and Development Manager at the same organization from 2003 to 2005. Orla's earlier experience includes working as an HRB Health Services Research Fellow at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland from 1999 to 2002 and serving as Development and Training Manager at the Irish Hospice Foundation during the same period on a part-time basis. Additional roles include Research Officer at RCSI focusing on quality in care for dying patients, from 1998 to 1999, and Researcher positions at Fife Health Board in Scotland from 1994 to 1997, and The University of Dundee from 1992 to 1994, where Orla contributed to health services research and ESRC funded studies.
