Patrick Burke

Patrick Burke is the current Managing Director of ILIM at Irish Life. Patrick has held this position since January 2007. Prior to that, they were the Chairman of the Irish Association of Pension Funds from September 2005 to December 2012. Patrick was also a Director at Irish Pensions Trust Ltd from January 2000 to December 2005.

Burke began their career as a Company Lawyer at Irish Pensions Trust Ltd in January 1995. Patrick then moved to Mercer in January 1998, where they worked as a Corporate Lawyer until December 2000. Patrick returned to Irish Pensions Trust Ltd in January 2000 and served as a Director until December 2005. Patrick has been Chairman of the European Federation for Retirement Provision since September 2005.

The educational career for Patrick Burke would include completing an Advanced Management Programme at INSEAD, being an Associate in Taxation through the Institute of Taxation in Ireland, becoming a Solicitor through the Law Society of Ireland, and obtaining a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) in Accounting and Finance from University College Dublin.
