David Keeley is currently the Director of Digitalisation at Irish Manufacturing Research. Prior to this role, David worked at Enterprise Ireland as a Senior Executive in Innovation, at TSM Control Systems as an Engineering Manager, and at various other companies in engineering and digitalisation roles. David has a diverse background in engineering with experience in industries such as construction, industrial, and agricultural machinery. David holds a range of degrees including a Master's in Advanced Engineering and a Post Graduate Diploma in Strategy and Innovation.

Irish Manufacturing Research is a government sponsored initiative that supports the Irish Manufacturing Sector to adopt cutting edge technologies in order to retain a competitive edge in a globalised environment. We work directly with industry partners to de-risk specific elements of emerging technologies. We de-risk new technology for industry. Due to the novelty of the technology IMR enables industry to address Challenges that no-one has solved before. However, because we are so close to industrial application of these technologies, we have to make sure what we do works, that it is suitable for an established company and it has a reputation and existing production streams to protect.
