David Humphreys

David Humphreys currently serves as Performance Director at the Irish Rugby Football Union since March 2024. Prior to this role, David founded SportsWork, a job site for the sporting industry, and held the positions of Director of Cricket Operations for the England Men’s team at the England & Wales Cricket Board from February 2023 to February 2024, and a member of the High Performance Committee at Cricket Ireland from September 2021 to March 2023. David has extensive experience in rugby, having been Director of Rugby at Gloucester Rugby (2014-2020) and Ulster Rugby (1998-2014), among other roles as a consultant and professional player. David's educational background includes a Law degree from Queen's University Belfast, a Certificate in Professional Legal Studies, and a Diploma in Social Studies from the University of Oxford.
