Gordon Stirling

Gordon Stirling is an experienced performance analyst and sport scientist currently associated with the Irish Rugby Football Union since August 2020, serving various roles, including U20s Performance Analyst and Match Analyst. Gordon is also a PhD student at Technological University Dublin, focusing on the integration of video and GPS data in Rugby Union. Previous experience includes performance analyst and sport scientist roles at Ulster Rugby, as well as delivering strength and conditioning workshops at Portobello Institute. Gordon has a strong background in strength and conditioning coaching across multiple sports, including positions with Clontarf Hockey Club, Leinster Tennis, and Wexford GAA, alongside a diverse coaching portfolio as a self-employed strength and conditioning coach. Gordon holds a Master’s degree in Coaching and Exercise Science from University College Dublin and a Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management and Coaching from Technological University Dublin.
