Mprii Aoife Clarke

Aoife Clarke, MPRII has extensive work experience in the field of communications and public relations. Aoife is currently serving as the Director of Communications at the Irish Rugby Football Union (IRFU) since July 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Communications & CSR Director at Lidl Ireland from July 2013 to May 2023. Aoife also worked at Lidl International as a Project Manager in the PR Department from February 2013 to June 2013. Aoife further enhanced their skills by completing a German language course at the Berlitz Language School in Germany from January 2013 to March 2013. Earlier in their career, they gained valuable experience at Lidl Ireland as a Project Manager in PR & Marketing from October 2008 to January 2013. Aoife also worked briefly as an Account Executive in the Sports Division at Slattery Communications in 2008 and as an Account Executive at The Hospitality Partnership from 2007 to 2008.

Aoife Clarke, MPRII, has a diverse education history. In 2003-2005, they attended Dublin City University, where they obtained a BA in European Business and Transatlantic Studies, with a specialization in Marketing. Following that, from 2005-2007, they pursued a BSIB in International Business at Northeastern University, focusing again on Marketing. In 2007-2008, Aoife attended the Fitzwilliam Institute, where they earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Event Management and Public Relations.

In 2017, they attended the Public Relations Institute of Ireland, where they obtained a Certificate in Public Affairs. Moving forward to 2021-2022, Aoife enrolled in The Honorable Society of King's Inns, where they pursued an Advanced Diploma in Social Media & Media Law.

Additionally, Aoife Clarke holds two additional certifications. In 2020, they obtained the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust. Aoife also holds a Trainer the Trainer FETAC Level 6 certification from FETAC (Further Education and Training Awards Council).
