John O'Grady is currently an advisor at the Irish Technology Leadership Group. John previously worked as the Chief of Mission Support Systems at the HHS Office of Inspector General from February 2010 to June 2020. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the software development life cycle of OIG information systems and applications, managing 60-70 contracted developers to support 1,800 users across the six components of the OIG, and providing expert technical advice and leadership in the development of state-of-the-art information systems and applications. John also prepared and submitted the fiscal year budget for the Software Development Branch, managed execution of a $17 million budget to ensure information systems and applications were developed, implemented, maintained, and operated on schedule and within cost, and ensured that contract expenditures for system development and maintenance were appropriate and consistent with plans and schedules.
John O'Grady attended Fort Lewis College and earned a certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) in PMP (Project Management Professional). John also earned a certification from Amazon Web Services in AWS Solution Architect - Associate. Finally, they earned a certification from APM Group in ITIL v.3 Foundations.
