Steve Hoey

Steve Hoey is the current Director at IrishAngels. Prior to this, they were a Self-Employed Contractor. Before that, they were with Vertica Capital Partners.

Hoey has an extensive background in finance and compliance. Steve was previously the Chief Financial and Compliance Officer at KPS Capital Partners from April 2004 to February 2017. Prior to that, they were the CFO for Quantum Industrial Family of Funds at Soros Private Equity Partners from June 2001 to April 2004. Steve also served as the CFO for Stonington Partners from April 1994 to May 2001. Their first finance role was as a Financial Officer at General Atlantic from February 1987 to March 1994.

Steve Hoey has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame - Mendoza College of Business. Steve is also certified by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CPA).
