IRISO Electronics is a dedicated global manufacturer of PCB mounted connectors. Featured products summary: IRISO Electronics is one of the most recognized interconnect providers for Automotive applications. We are one of the pioneers in the FLOATING board to board connectors, which lessen the stress of misalignment of mating. FLOATING BtoB connectors are offered combination with Dual-contacts, which used to be called TANDEM, that two male contacts are on the same mating path against one flat mating surfaces of female connector. This achieves high security of contact and have self cleaning effect against contamination. In other words, the front male terminal of the TANDEM scrapes the foreign substance like a melted nylon, and the second terminal makes clean contact. FLOATING BtoB connectors are also offered combination with Gigabit LVDS speed up to PCIE 3. Positive locking featured FFC/FPC connectors I-LOCK: the FFC connector with POSITIVE locking system, which frees assembler's hands before locking once the wire is inserted into the connector. Tentative latching terminals retains the accurate mating position while the wire is shaken agitated or lightly pulled prior to the final locking mechanism is engaged. Finished assembly achieves withstanding against very high extraction force. The design is meant for secured/better connection and assemble-ability. I-Lock connectors are also available with Automatic Locking feature and are offered up to LVDS speed 6 Gbps with GND drop of EMI shields of FFC/FPC. IRISO is serving the market since 60's and serve approx 40% of Automotive in-vehicle electronics portfolio. We are looking into developing distribution relationships to better serve non-automotive arenas.
