Ciprian Radu

Ciprian Radu has a solid work experience in the field of network and system administration. Ciprian started their career in 2006 at Duras Scorilo Impex SRL, where they maintained and administered servers and routers to ensure high-quality internet and VoIP services. During this time, they also gained experience in Cisco routers, Linux/Unix systems, and programming.

In 2008, Ciprian joined Airbites Romania as a Network and System Administrator. Here, they played a role in the design and implementation of the company's metropolitan backbone and the setup of equipment for improved redundancy. Ciprian also worked on implementing IPSEC VPN solutions and the company's intranet.

In 2010, Ciprian became self-employed and provided web application development services. Ciprian evaluated project requirements, developed applications based on customer needs, and managed operating systems, security systems, and intrusion detection systems. Ciprian also assisted businesses in technology planning aligned with growth projections.

Ciprian's most recent experience is with Iristel, where they worked since 2012. Ciprian has held multiple roles at the company, starting as a Senior Network and Systems Engineer. Ciprian was involved in various aspects of system development life cycle, worked closely with customers and stakeholders, and implemented projects using Symfony framework, PowerDNS, OpenVPN, Apache NiFi, Kafka, Ansible, and more. Ciprian has also implemented network security equipment, including firewalls and two-factor authentication. Additionally, they created an internal monitoring system using ntop, snmp polling, and Ansible playbooks.

Ciprian Radu holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Legal Studies, General from The Nicolae Titulescu University of Bucharest. In addition to their educational background, they have also obtained the Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) certification from Offensive Security in August 2016 and the Amazon Web Services Cloud Practitioner certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in May 2021.
