Lucia Muñiz

Lucia Muñiz is an experienced professional with a strong background in Quality Assurance (QA) and automation engineering. Lucia started their career at GAES in 2011 as an Audiologist and later transitioned into the role of IT Application Support in 2016, where they stayed until 2019. In 2019, they joined Amplifon as a Quality Assurance Analyst and worked there until December 2021. Lucia then moved on to Merlin Software in December 2021, where they served as a QA Automation professional until September 2022. Following their time at Merlin Software, they joined MindDen in September 2022 and worked as a QA Automation specialist until April 2023. Currently, Lucia is employed at IriusRisk, where they hold the role of QA Automation Engineer.

Lucia Muñiz completed their education in multiple stages. From 2008 to 2010, they studied at the Escuela Nacional de Audiología Protésica de Asturias, where they obtained a Técnico Superior en Audioprótesis degree. Following this, they enrolled at the Institut Obert de Catalunya (IOC), where they pursued a Técnico en Sistemas Microinformáticos y Redes degree until 2020. Subsequently, from 2021 to 2025, they continued their education at the same institution and focused on Multiplatform Application Development in the field of Information Technology.

In addition to their formal education, Lucia Muñiz also obtained several certifications. In September 2021, they completed the Test Automation Foundations certification from LinkedIn. In May 2020, they obtained the API Testing Foundations certification, also from LinkedIn. Moreover, they obtained the English C1 of MERC certification from the Generalitat de Catalunya in June 2017. Lastly, Lucia earned the Nivell de Suficiència C1 de català certification from the Generalitat de Catalunya in September 2015.
