Ryan Brainard has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Ryan is currently serving as the CTO at Iron-IQ, Inc. since August 2020. Prior to this, they owned their own company, Brainard Technologies, starting in 2010.
Ryan also worked at Job Industrial Services as a Senior Automation Engineer from February 2016 to August 2020. Ryan held the role of a Senior Engineer - Control Systems at Rio Tinto from March 2012 to November 2015.
Before that, Ryan worked as an Engineering Manager at Champion Technology Services from June 2007 to March 2012. In this role, they developed automation systems solutions, designed process solutions, and developed data collection and manipulation software.
Ryan also held a role as a Software Engineer - Team Lead at Walgreens from May 2005 to June 2007. Ryan began their career at Southwest Medical in January 2004, where they worked as a Software and web development engineer, as well as a Systems Administrator. In this role, they developed a multi-website e-commerce solution, created EDI communications drivers, and managed IT infrastructure.
Ryan Brainard attended Northern Arizona University from 1998 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems. Ryan'sfield of study was Computer Programming. Additionally, Ryan obtained additional certifications including Certified Functional Safety Professional (CFSP) from exida in May 2019 and Siemens Solutions Partner Certification from Siemens in January 2010.
