Matthew Hetzel

Matthew Hetzel is an experienced leader in executive talent acquisition, currently serving as the Senior Director of Global Executive Talent Acquisition at Iron Mountain since October 2021. This role involves developing the company's first internal Global Executive Talent Acquisition framework, achieving significant cost avoidance through in-house search execution. Previously, Hetzel played a key role at IBM as the Executive Search Lead for Cloud & Cognitive Solutions and Global Business Services, enhancing internal search capabilities. Additional experience includes positions at GE Digital as an Executive Talent Acquisition Partner, Nuance Communications as Director of Executive Talent Acquisition, and leadership roles at CTPartners and Heidrick & Struggles. Hetzel began a career in clinical sales and was an associate in executive search prior to these roles. Hetzel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Bridgewater State University.
