Petar Malenica

Petar Malenica is a seasoned drilling professional with extensive experience in various roles across the energy sector. Currently serving as a Drilling Consultant at Iron Senergy since October 2023, Petar supervises critical drilling operations and ensures adherence to safety and environmental policies. Previously, Petar held the position of Drilling Foreman at Range Resources, achieving significant reductions in drilling costs and cycle times through the deployment of Managed Pressure Drilling techniques. As a Senior Well Construction Supervisor at Repsol, Petar led various safety initiatives that resulted in zero lost time incidents. With additional roles ranging from Drilling Engineer Tech at Talisman Energy to operations analysis at Shaw Communications, Petar has proven expertise in on-site supervision, problem resolution, and technical planning in drilling operations. Petar holds an education from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and the University of Houston.
