Peter Folan

Peter Folan has over 13 years of professional experience in software development and engineering. From 2006-2013, they worked as a Software Engineer at Lockheed Martin in Maryland. During this time, they supported the issue backlog for the air traffic management program, was selected as a critical member for focus teams, integrated, tested, debugged, and maintained 15+ system components, devised workarounds, drivers/stubs, and scripts for informal testing, and participated in development and incremental demonstrations of subsystem prototype to the customer.

From 2013-present, Folan has worked as a Sr Software Developer and Application Engineer at IronArch Technology. In their role as a Sr Software Developer, they developed and maintained the milCloud® 2.0 Business Portal to plan, manage, and track account, request, task, and ledger management for milCloud® 2.0, implemented capabilities to enable estimating, workflow, billing, and reporting of client ledger data, and built robust and modular AngularJS SN widgets. As an Application Engineer, they implemented updates and features, debugged/troubleshot defects, issues, and enhancements for the Army Application Migration Planning Tool, accelerated requirements analysis, design, and implementation of foundational logic and internal business processes, and assisted in management and maintenance of data sources.

Peter Folan obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from The Pennsylvania State University between 2002 and 2006.
