Michelle Gillette has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Michelle began their career as a Communications Specialist and Independent Contractor at the Lakeland Chamber of Commerce from 2003 to 2007. Michelle then worked as a Private Events Intern at the Atlanta Botanical Garden in 2009, where they contributed to the creation of private events and managed social media content. From 2010 to 2014, Michelle served as a Sales & Marketing Associate at The Fox Theatre, where they conducted research, maintained the department's website and social media platforms, and managed event photos. Their next role was as Manager of Private Events Marketing & Business Management at the Atlanta History Center from 2014 to 2017, where they oversaw all private events marketing and led the department's rebranding efforts. Since 2017, Michelle has been working in the marketing department of Brighton Best International and Ironclad Performance Wear. Initially, they held the position of Marketing Manager, responsible for strategic marketing for the Proferred product line and the newly acquired brand, Ironclad. Michelle created marketing initiatives, collaborated with product managers, and elevated brand visibility through social media channels. More recently, Michelle has taken on the role of Director of Marketing at Ironclad Performance Wear, where they continue to lead marketing efforts and support the brand's growth.
Michelle Gillette completed their high school education at Bartow High School. Michelle then went on to earn an Associates Degree in Mass Communication from Polk State College. Later, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication with a focus on Public Relations from Florida Southern College, which they completed in 2003.
