Shanika Chandrasekera

Shanika Chandrasekera has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 1991 when they worked as an Audit Executive at EY. In 1994, they joined KPMG as a Senior Audit Trainee, where they gained understanding in assessment of audit plans, findings and recommendations, audit improvements, problem and issue resolution, and follow-up on corrective actions. In 1996, they joined HSBC Sri Lanka as the Custodian for Unit Trust & Kandy Branch, where they rose to Assistant Manager to manage the branch banking operations. In 2004, Shanika joined DFCC Vardhana Bank PLC as a Branch Manager, where they recommended facilities to the branch management within the assigned budgets and grew the asset and liability portfolio. In 2016, Shanika began working at IronOne Technologies LLC as the Manager of Operations, where they directed and coordinated the internal structure of the organization based on company policies, goals, and objectives. Additionally, they assisted the top management and Board in creating annual organizational budgets and monitoring cash flow. In the same year, they also began working at BoardPAC as the Manager of Operations.

Shanika Chandrasekera completed their Master of Science in Strategic Marketing from Asia e University between 2013 and 2015. Shanika also holds an Intermediate Banking Diploma Examination from the Institute of Bankers in 1997-1998, a Licentiate Certificate from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka in 1991-1993, and a DipM ACM from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Shanika attended Ladies College from 1977 to 1990.
