An effective residential mental health treatment program and fully-accredited school for youth ages 13-18, Ironwood Maine LLC is located on a beautiful 400 acre campus in rural Maine. Ironwood is committed to helping families in crisis with teens who struggle by prioritizing positive relationship development and a multidisciplinary collaborative approach to treatment. Individualized treatment plans include intensive therapeutic and behavioral interventions, group work, physical exercise, outdoor-based experiences, and a variety of enrichment programs including equestrian, art, culinary, horticulture, and nature therapy studies. At Ironwood we use the three C’s in our therapeutic model: Cultivate self awareness and respect; Collaborate through engaging residents to be part of their therapeutic planning; Connect residents to themselves, their Ironwood community, and their families through teaching them the power of their mind-body connection.
