Sourangsu Banerji

Sourangsu Banerji is an accomplished optical designer currently serving as the Lead Optical Designer at Irradiant Technologies since August 2023. With a robust background in optical engineering, Sourangsu previously held the position of Lead Optical Engineer at Momentum Optics, where innovations included developing a novel in-situ metrology tool and integrating wavefront sensing capabilities into laser manufacturing tools. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Optical Engineer, Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Utah, and Program Analyst at Cognizant. Sourangsu holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Utah and a B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from West Bengal University of Technology.
