Michelle E. Molina has a diverse work experience in the field of 3D art and animation. Michelle is currently working as a 3D Technical Artist at Irreverent Labs, starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Impact Theory as a Stylized 3D Character Artist on the "Project Kyzen" by Impact Theory, where they contributed to the creation of iconic characters and props. In 2020, they worked at EAM as a 3D Artist, responsible for 3D modeling, texturing, and creating masks for an unannounced AAA independent videogame. Michelle also worked at Activision as a Mocap Technical Artist, working on popular AAA titles such as Call of Duty and collaborating with 2K Games projects. Michelle served as the Lead 3D Artist at Pupo Studios, leading a team of 5 artists and overseeing in-house projects. Additionally, they have worked on various freelance projects and collaborated with studios such as Apgeren Services and BANG Motion&films. Michelle'sskills include rigging, mocap cleaning and retargeting, 3D modeling, texturing, and workshop leadership.
Michelle E. Molina attended Universidad San Francisco de Quito from 2014 to 2018, where they received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Digital Animation. During their time at the university, they also completed a minor in Illustration in 2017 and a minor in Contemporary Arts in 2016-2017. Additionally, they obtained various certifications including being a finalist in the AndeanCall, Animation du Monde competition in 2018, a Wacom Certification in 2017, and completing workshops and training sessions in animation production, visual development, script and staging for animation, and Adobe Photoshop.
