Marchand is the Founder and Board Director at Irréversible Inc. since February 2024 and has been with 1QBit since January 2014. Marchand holds a Ph.D. in Computational and theoretical Condensed Matter Physics from The University of British Columbia, along with a Master's Degree in Physics and Bachelor's Degrees in Physics and Computer Engineering from various universities. Throughout their career, Marchand has held various leadership roles such as Director Special Projects, Head of Research and Partnerships, Customer Solutions Lead, Lead Scientist, and Senior Researcher.
