PHD Student - Emerging Pathogens at IrsiCaixa AIDS Research Institute

Elisa Molina is a dedicated researcher currently serving as a PhD Student in the Emerging Pathogens group at IrsiCaixa AIDS Research Institute, focused on developing antiviral and immunomodulatory therapies against SARS-CoV-2 and other emerging pathogens. Prior experience includes roles as an English Language Teacher at Kids&Us, and as a Scientific Research Assistant at Vall d'Hebron Institute of Oncology, where Elisa worked on immune responses in breast cancer. Earlier research involvement includes analyzing T cell receptors in breast cancer at IBB UAB and evaluating antimicrobial activity at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Elisa holds a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and a MSc in Advanced Immunology from Universitat de Barcelona, complemented by an Expert Course in Clinical Trials monitorization from CEU Cardenal Herrera University.
