Jean Dion

Jean DION is an experienced research and development engineer specializing in communication networks and systems. Since December 2013, Jean has been employed at IRT B-com, focusing on advanced research projects. Prior to this role, Jean worked at Orange from October 2010 to October 2013 as a research engineer and PhD student, where the primary focus was on developing a flexible decoding architecture for advanced error correction codes. Earlier experience includes a research and development year at STM Norway, contributing to channel decoding architecture for the DVB-RCS2 standard, and a student project at TELECOM Bretagne involving FPGA implementation. Jean holds an engineering degree in Telecommunications from TELECOM Bretagne, complemented by academic experiences at Technische Universität Dresden and a preparatory class in Mathematics and Physics.
