Julien Baclet

Julien Baclet is an experienced professional with a strong background in systems engineering and model-based engineering. Currently serving as the Head of the Systems Engineering team at IRT AESE - Saint Exupéry since January 2016, Julien manages a team of approximately ten doctors and engineers, overseeing project allocations and training, while also drafting and managing research projects with a budget of around 1.5 million euros annually. Prior to this role, Julien worked as a Principal Research Engineer and as a research engineer at Zodiac Aerospace, contributing to methods and tools for model-based systems engineering. Experience at Carmat involved project management and systems engineering for a Total Artificial Heart system, while early work at MBDA focused on developing testing equipment for naval missile installations. Julien holds a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, and Communications from the Institut supérieur d'électronique et du numérique.
