Ed Ortiz has a diverse range of work experience spanning several decades. Ed began their career in 1979 as a Designer Draftsman for an architectural firm. In 1983, they joined CMMP Mexico as a Senior Project Engineer, where they specialized in designing large pressure vessels and heat exchangers. Ed then moved on to Manitex, Inc. in 1987, where they held various roles including Senior Project Engineer, Engineering Manager, and Interim Customer Support Manager. During their time at Manitex, they were responsible for designing truck-mounted telescopic cranes and overhead cranes, as well as managing engineering projects and customer support. In 2012, Ed joined Independent RT Center, LLC as the Director of Product Development. Ed later took on the same role at Kalmar RT Center, L.L.C. in 2014, where they oversaw the design and implementation of Kalmar products and managed the Product Development Team. Throughout their career, Ed has demonstrated expertise in design, project management, and product development.
Ed Ortiz attended Technology Jobs Careers from 1979 to 1983, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) with a focus on Thermodynamics. During the same period, they also attended the Technological Institute of Ciudad, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
