Sean Stegmaier

Sean Stegmaier has over ten years of experience as an attorney specializing in tax and property law. Sean began their career at O'Melveny & Myers LLP in 2007, where they focused on executive compensation and employee benefits matters. During their time at the firm, they also served as Chair of the Summer Associate Program and sat on the Firm's Employment Committee. In 2016, they joined Irvine Company as the Vice President and Associate Tax Counsel. In this role, they work with other corporate departments and operational divisions to plan and implement transactions and evaluate the tax-efficiency of day-to-day operations for a diversified real estate company.

Sean Stegmaier obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in both Business Economics & Philosophy from UC Santa Barbara in 2002. Sean then attended Chapman University Fowler School of Law and obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree with an emphasis in Taxation in 2006. Following that, they pursued further education at Georgetown University Law Center and completed a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree in Taxation in 2007. In the same year, Sean also obtained certification from the California State Bar. Prior to their higher education, Sean attended Damien High School.
