Alex Cheema is an experienced educator currently serving as a 5th Grade Teacher and Instructional Aide at Westpark Elementary within the Irvine Unified School District since January 2022. Alex has a background in leadership development through roles at Apex Leadership Company and experience as a substitute teacher in various school districts. Previous positions include responsibilities as a Camp Director and Community Services Leader, managing programs for children and overseeing staff. Alex holds a Master of Arts in Elementary Education and Teaching from Point Loma Nazarene University and a Bachelor of Education in Family & Human Services from the University of Oregon.
