Jeannine Porter

Jeannine Porter, Ed. D., serves as the Chief of Communications, Marketing, and Strategic Initiatives at Irving Independent School District since February 2019, leading marketing and communications for one of the largest school districts in Texas. In prior roles, Jeannine has held various leadership positions in human resources, including Chief of Employee Services and Executive Director of Employee Services, overseeing comprehensive HR functions. Jeannine's extensive background in education includes positions as Principal and Dean of Students in Houston ISD, where significant accomplishments in student achievement and personnel management were realized. Jeannine holds a Doctorate of Education in Educational Administration and Supervision, alongside multiple degrees in communication and media studies.
